GOWrite 2 Installation
After download execute installation program.

GOWrite 2 Requirements
GOWrite 2 needs Java runtime environment (JRE, version
1.4 or
later), to be present. Sun offers Windows JRE for free.
Please note that 1.3.x or earlier runtime can not be used.
GOWrite 2 requires at least
- Pentium II processor running at 300MHz (or similar).
- Normal memory required by operating system.
- Screen resolution 800x600.
- 256 or more colors in screen
For best results, one should have
- Pentium II processor running at 500MHz (or similar).
- Screen resolution 1024x800.
- 65536 (16bit) colors in screen
GOWrite 2 and its installation program should be possible to use in
- Windows 95 / 98 / ME
- Windows NT4.0 / 2000 / XP (using x86 processor)
It should be noted that old machines (likely to run Windows 95) may be
rather slow for GOWrite 2 use.
Note also that international support depends on locale of installed Windows,
except in 2000 and XP. In 2000 and XP it is possible to install international
support in all versions, but it is not installed as standard.
Tested platforms
GOWrite 2 has been tested in Windows 98 and in Windows 2000.
Currently GOWrite is tested using JRE version 1.4.2 and 1.5.0.
